(More customer reviews)This cover is good..Holds the ipod in place. Just wish I didnt have to take off the cover I use normally to protect it to use the arm band. It will take more time to take out and put on. The band is pretty big ( I have big arms and it fit great with extra length) All in all an okay product.

(More customer reviews)Well, I don't know exactly why the passPORT won't work for the 1-star reviewer, BUT IT WORKED FOR ME! I got a Panasonic CQ-C7303U radio 2 years ago and then the iPod adapter for it over 1 year ago. At that time, I had the 5th gen iPod video, then after that crapped out on me, I got the 3rd gen. nano (8GB). Then I upgraded to the 4th gen. nano almost as soon as it came out, so I could have double the memory (16GB).

Well, once I got the 4th gen. nano and plugged it into my radio, everything worked (it played/controlled through the radio), but I would get this message at the bottom of the nano's screen saying: "Charging is not supported for this accessory". (Or something like that.) And indeed the nano lost battery power much faster than it would listening to music through the headphones. (It makes since that more juice would be sucked up listening to music through the docking port.) Since I mostly listen to my nano in my truck (Panasonic radio), I depended on the radio to keep it charged up instead of having to plug it into my computer whenever the battery gets low. After doing some reasearch on why this was, I found out that for all the newest ipods (4th gen. nano, 2nd gen. Touch & iPhone 3G) Apple changed the way they charge that only allows 5 volt sources (USB, Apple AC adapters, etc.) and no 12 volt sources (firewire and most 3rd party accessories).
To make a long story short (too late!), I found a link to the passPORT, ordered one and plugged it in. I plugged in my nano on top of it and the message at the bottom of it now just reads: "Accessory is plugged in". (Or something like that) After looking real close, the charge icons appear in the battery symbol (showing charging or charged) and when I unplug it, the battery is fully charged or charged fuller than it was before. It kinda sucks to have to pay $30 to get back a feature that shouldn't have been taken away in the first place, but I guess that's the price of progress?
Well...OK, despite the title, I guess I did have more to say than IT WORKS!**UPDATE**: Just bought a 64GB Ipod Touch (3rd Gen.) and the passPORT works just fine with it too!

(More customer reviews)I had been looking for a FM transmitter for my iTouch for about two weeks and very concerned about everything I had read about different ones. I am very pleased to say that this product exceeded my expectations. I have had no issues with this unit so far. It was a breeze to connect and the clamps that hold the unit allow for a silicone case to remain on the iTouch. There are also tabs on the bottom that the iTouch rests on that are adjustable to allow for all connections. The unit will move, but I expected this because it is on an adjustable mount and it bounces when you vehicle bounces (a good thing I think). Overall I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for an inexpensive FM Transmitter that really does what it is supposed to. I have also not experienced any interference or beeping noises that I had read in other product reviews. DLO TransDock 3.0 FM Transmitter for iPod (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I can't imagine an easier product to use. You just:
1) Open the box and snap the three pieces together.
2) Plug the TransDock into your car's cigarette lighter.
3) Plug your iPod into the Transdock.
4) Press the center button on the TransDock. It will find the best (least interference) FM frequency and display it.
5) Tune your car radio to the indicated frequency.
Now whatever you play on your iPod will play on your FM radio. I'm not an audiophile, but the sound quality is very good and clear to my ears. In my rural area, this works great. I've also had no problems in a nearby mid sized city (300,000+) (and never had to change frequencies). I have heard that in major urban areas you may have problems finding a frequency without competing signals. I haven't yet taken this to a large city, so I don't know.
The construction and looks of this unit are very good. It is black and blends very well with the dashboard in both our Honda Civic and our Toyota Tacoma (both with black dashboards). In both cases it looks well integrated - much less kludgey looking than most aftermarket GPS units, for example.
It fits very snugly into the cigarette lighter - it never moves around while I drive over bumpy roads. The gooseneck can be bent a little if you need, but is very rigid and holds its shape. The neck is fairly short - so the bottom of the unit will be about 3 - 4 inches above the lighter socket.
You can't tell from the photo, but the gooseneck attaches near the top of the unit, not the bottom.
There are a couple of jacks in the bottom of the unit marked "AV OUT" and "AUX IN". I haven't had a reason to use them. They are completely out of view in the car since they are on the bottom side.
Other comments:
Since this unit is so easy to plug in and remove (and is so small), it would be very easy to take with you in a rental or friend's car.
My (possibly naive) assumption is that the AUX IN port will let you plug in a non iPod mp3 player.
I have a new 4th generation Ipod Nano. It wasn't clear when I bought the Transdock that it would work with the new Nano. No problems there.

(More customer reviews)I have an iPod Touch 2G. Got this to record my stand-up classes and ended up using it for interviews as well. Great recording quality, easy to use.
You do need to purchase the iTalk premium app ($2 or so) and make sure you download Italk Sync to your computer.
Great quality, even in less than stellar rooms with lots of background noise.
Can't go wrong with this, esp considering the price.
Only drawback: you can't listen to it while you're recording because it uses the headphone jack. But, I just set it and forget it until I'm done recording.
Then I sync with my Mac and open with iTunes. Done. I've even dropped it into Bias Peak and other audio editing programs so I could send portions of the audio to classmates.
All very convenient and quick.
