First thing I would like to mention is that they have a very good customer service. I had my Ice 8GB mp3 player that I accidentally broke the screen and the latte replaced the whole unit to the new one.
Now I needed more memory space to upload my home videos and found this latte on Amazon. Ice 8GB is now passed to my son and I got this 32GB mp3 plus the 16GB extra memory. I uploaded most of my home videos(about 40GB) and still have plenty of memory space left for the music. My husband is using the Archos 60GB harddrive mp3 player, but now he wants this latte 32GB cafe mp3 because the response time is a lot faster than the Archos. My husband is telling me that it is becuase of the memory: flash memory should run faster than the harddrive memory.
*Screen: Very sensetive touch screen. Unlike ipod touch, cafe mp3 requires the double click to activate any buttons or lists. But for the price that is around half of the ipod touch 32GB(nowadays, it is around $399), I am very impressed about the quality of this cafe.
*There are not many choice for the high capacity mp3 and the prices are too expensive. I had my research on the high capacity mp3's and found ipod touch($399), Archos 60GB($269) , Sansa($175 but not touch screen and small screen), Zen($235 but not a touch screen), cowon($269.99), and latte cafe($189).
*Sound: reasonable sound quality. pretty much same sound as my previous latte Ice mp3 player(of course, they are from the same company ^_^)
*Video: I am very happy that I can now carry all of my home videos with me. cafe has TV connection feature but I haven't tested.
*Accessories: Nice leather case and the touch pen. Also, the good earphone.
I think the other 32GB mp3s are very overpriced compare to this latte. I hope my review helps.

(More customer reviews)I am very impressed with this mp3 player. Alot for the money. My favorite feature is the built in fm transmitter. Comes in very clear through the car stereo, and you can program any frequency you want to use unlike other fm transmitters that only give you 5 or 6 choices and you might not find one that doesn't cross with a radio station. Not the case here. Second favorite feature is the external speaker. Pretty decent for a built in, and useful where you don't want your ears plugged up, like in the office. Has a lot of features Amazon doesn't list, like 5 eq presets and a 5 band custom eq setting. Can be used as a voice recorder, sync's music very quickly, and the battery lasts over 8 hours of playback, I used it an entire shift and it still had battery life left. It's rechargeable by connecting to your computer through usb. The menu works like an ipod without the scroll wheel, you can set songs as favorites and use that as a playlist, i'm working on one for the gym. I would recommend this player to anyone.

I wanted something to play both through headphones and a few different FM radios and this does exactly that and very well. I don't care about viewing videos, pictures or text but it does those things very well too. It seems to be well made and 99% intuitive, I figured almost everything out without cracking the instruction booklet.

(More customer reviews)It is acceptable and works well enough. The battery charges through plugin adapter or usb cable, so there are options. The mounts as a removable storage device so drag and drop of your music, videos, pictures, text documents is easy. The SD card slot is a nice feature that works with out any issues so far. And the sound quality is good as well. Overall it is a decent product that does the main functions well enough.
The good.
-MP3 performance is good.
-Movie playback is decent for the screen size.
-Battery is easy to charge and has long life.
The Neutral
-The buttons are ok, they don't feel cheap but they are stiff and have a clear click. Probably a trade off of being too easy to press to avoid accidents.
-The FM Radio is nice to have, but at least with the supplied headphones it only comes out of one side. This may be related to a stereo setting under the system setting for radio, but even if that is the case, a device like this should be able to put a mono signal out both sides.
-The headphone jack is tight. Make sure it is pushed in all the way or you will get the above indication of only one side working.
-As with most of these devices video must be converted to play on it. Software is included to run on windows to do this for you. The documentation didn't list the video requirements so us non-windows users would be able to recreate our videos to what it needs. I probably should have waited till I got home to evaluate the output file to write this review, but that being said if you have access to a windows system you can run the converter on you can evaluate that output file to create your own on the OS of your choice.
The Bad
-While it has several options on how to sort your music or video it does not have a playlist function. This can be worked around by setting up folders that have what you want in them and then telling the device to play in sequence the folder or randomize it as you would a playlist. I consider this a negative because it feels very mechanical design, it works but in the digital age is a playlist that hard to include?
-The "ebook" support is for text only, no PDFs. Since all of my "ebooks" are PDF or html text based seems a bit of a wasted feature.
-You can view pictures but it does not have a zoom or rotate function. Again not something that is a must have, but if you are going to let it display pictures is it that hard to let you zoom in on them?
The main reason I wanted this was for an MP3 player, with the option to play some videos. For that purpose this does do the job and I haven't ran into any great quality concerns. The headphones are suspect but I don't expect included headphones to be worth much anyway. The FM radio was a big plus for me giving this a try and besides the annoyance of 1 speaker, it is acceptable.
For the cost of this I would recommend it. There are better devices if you want to spend more, but this isn't a rip off if this is the price range you are looking at.

Here are some of findings which might help other people's buying decision. Anyway, I am satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone who wants to use MP3 in daily life.
Pros
1. Design: Very simple. No buttons, Good quality case.
2. Touch Screen: Very responsive. Especially, the unit vibrates when I touch the screen, so I know if I touch it correctly or not. Response rate is very good compared to other cheap touch players (I owned cheap touch screen mp4 from other company,,,, it was so hard to touch the item that I wanted)
3. Rotating Screen: The screen rotates as I rotate the unit. I do not have to try to hold it in one direction. Any direction will show correct display. (it actually rotates 360 degree)
4. FM Radio and Transmitter: This is the feature I like the most. Now I can use my player in the car without buying an expensive FM transmitter ($$$$$). Very clear sound throught your car FM radio. You need to plug the ear phone since it will be used as antena
5. Music and Video: supports various formats. Quality is superb. Many of videos need to be resized to be directly played in the player. No problem. There are tons of free conversion software on the net.
6. In-ear metal headphone: WOW... by itselt, it looks so expensive. I found the same one at Fry's at $19.95.. Excellect Noise isolating headphone
7. Drag and Drop: No software needed. Just copy all files from your PC and paste into the player. It will automatically be sorted by the player (Music, Video, pictures, etc)
Cons
1. Even the screen is 3", it is still small for users like me to touch menu correctly with fingers. But Acceptable because it has up and down icons on each menu screen.
2. No accessories other than styus. Could not find protection cover yet.
3. Will update this when I find more bad things about the players
4. No external memory slot. Try one for yourself. It is a pretty solid player. I am satisfied.

(More customer reviews)I must admit I had a couple of problems figuring out how to use this device properly, at first I even thought it was defective! After speaking with the very helpful tech support guy in San Jose, the penny dropped and I felt embarrassed that I hadn't RTFM (read the f manual)!
This is a very loaded MP3 player, 16 GB with slot for more memory, and boasts a superb FM transmitter as well as a great FM radio. You can watch movies or just listen to music, or even use it as a flash drive for your computer. It is light and portable with a quality screen and comes with great headphones too. You can use it as a recorder and listen with the built in speaker (tinny but better than nothing).
Get the optional Latte Ice sleeve to protect it. Enjoy!
