I'm sorry, but this unit is a horrible mp3 player. The fm transmitter doesn't have enough power to get into ANY radio I tried, without lots of static, if at all. Also, the battery life is dismal, compared to my iriver. Also the volume doesn't go up loud enough. I'm disappointed and would not recommend this unit.

This product was "dead on arrival". It would not transmit. It would charge the iPod, but that is all. I returned it and got a different product.

Play your iPod through your car's FM stereo while simultaneously chargingthe unit with this Maxell digital FM transmitter and power plug. The unit is easy to use:just plug the included cable into your iPod's 30-pin dock connector, insert the powerplug into your car's cigarette lighter adapter, and choose an empty (i.e., unused) FMfrequency on your radio dial. Once you set the transmitter to the same frequency, you'llhear your favorite iPod songs through your car's stereo speakers, all without hasslingwith cumbersome cables. Listeners are assured of a crisp sound thanks to the high- stability crystal oscillator and phase-locked loop control, which keep the transmitterlocked to the correct frequency. And it's easy to store several favorite FM frequencies inthe transmitter thanks to the 10 memory presets. Other details include a 60-second auto- off function that preserves your iPod's battery power when the power plug isn't used, apass-through jack that lets you connect other dock-connecting accessories, and aneasy-to-read display. The FM transmitter and power plug, which are compatible with theiPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod photo, iPod video, iPod nano, and iPod mini, carries a 90-daywarranty against defects.

XtremeMac Airplay Boost FM Transmitter for iPod nano 2G (Black) Review

XtremeMac Airplay Boost FM Transmitter for iPod nano 2G (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had tried several other FM transmitters for my iPod Nano 2G but all failed to pass muster. Be it ease of use, excessive static or simply poor construction they all suffered from deficiencies that rendered them unusable. With the AirPlay Boost however I have been very satisfied with its performance. The default frequency (87.9 MHz) was fine for my area (Tampa, a big but sprawling metropolitan area). My primary use will be in my car and for that scenario it worked well. There was static discernible but I would go so far as to say that it was less than most radio stations. The telescoping antenna was a little flimsier than expected but not so much so that I am concerned about its durability. I am glad it is telescoping as my iPod would not fit in its protective case otherwise. The inclusion of a pass through charging connector at the bottom of the transmitter is a nice feature. The case design of the transmitter blends well with the case of the iPod Nano 2G. I would recommend this product to others.

Garmin nüvi 765/765T 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic Review

Garmin nüvi 765/765T 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This Nuvi does several things very well, and I've yet to discover any serious shortcomings. My thoughts:
Navigation: Excellent, as is typical with Garmin units. On a couple of occasions the voice (right now I'm using Australian Karen) told me my destination was on the wrong side of the street.
Map: The map is clear, the refresh rate is fast, and all of the right information is provided on-screen, including details for upcoming turns and junctions, speed limit, and traffic alerts. It's annoying that I can't choose to switch the display of my current speed to some other piece of info. I already have a speedometer. The 3D buildings feature seems pretty gimmicky, and is implemented sporadically, even in downtown Boston. When there is coverage, most buildings are monochromatic blocks, and not the photo-realistic buildings seen in screenshots.
Lane Assist: This feature has been spot-on so far. It's nice driving in a new area and not getting flustered about being in the wrong lane. I have yet to see the full-screen 3D Lane Assist Junction View shown in the many 765t screenshots -- however, I've done very little highway driving, and I believe this screen requires that the user press the top-left (upcoming turn icon).
>>>>>UPDATE: After some highway driving, it turns out that the full-screen 3D Lane Assist Junction View shows up automatically before potentially tricky highway junctions. Very nice.
Traffic: As far as I know, I have not been re-routed because of traffic. However, it's very easy to bring up a list of major roads and their current traffic conditions, and to avoid them at will. The pop-up advertising associated with the "free" traffic is pretty subtle, and never distracting.
Bluetooth: I'm impressed with this feature so far. It mated with my phone (old Motorola RAZR V3) easily, importing all of my contacts in the process. The ability to instantly dial any point of interest (e.g., to check on store hours) is brilliant. The volume from the speaker is reasonably loud. I also tried sending the audio to my car stereo using an audio cable, and the output seemed a bit low (I had to turn my car stereo way up). I have not yet tried sending the audio to my car stereo using the FM transmitter. I called my voicemail, and the built-in microphone picks up my voice reasonably well with the engine running. I'm not sure how well it would work with highway speeds. I'm told that the cheap Garmin microphone (which plugs into the cradle, not the unit) improves voice quality.
>>>>>UPDATE: This is true -- the microphone is an improvement, though it adds yet another long cord to your long cord collection. Also, I've tried the FM transmitter. It works, albeit with a certain amount of static. I imagine this feature would intolerable if you are driving a long way.
Other features: I haven't used the SD card slot for anything. I haven't tried the photo viewer or the mp3 player, and I probably won't.
Build Quality: Seems solid. The unit has a certain heft to it, and it's covered in a soft, rubbery coating. I've also dropped it already (because I'm an idiot) -- still working beautifully.
Suggested improvements: Garmin doesn't make it easy to look up the actual coordinates (latitude and longitude) for favorites or points of interest. This information should be available at the press of a button.
Needless to say, I'm pleased with my purchase. The 756t is not cheap right now, and if you can live without the new features, you might be better off with an older unit. That said, if you're looking for a gps device with all of the latest features and compatibility, this seems to be a solid pick.

My husband and I both have iPods & were looking for something that we could both use. My husband really wanted it for the wireless FM transmitter and an armband. The FM transmitter has a lot of static. He doesn't really use it now; there is no point when you hear more static then the song itself. We did get more accessories than what we were looking for so now we have a lot of junk laying around the house. If you have more than 3 IPods, than I can see it be worth buying this package.

Trekstor MP3-RadioStation f.ox FM Transmitter Review

Trekstor MP3-RadioStation f.ox FM Transmitter

Great device with a nice feature of accepting any USB storage.
However, I noticed the reception wasn't that great so I added my home-made antenna to get almost perfect reception.
I use about 5 ft of wire.
1. Wrap one end of the wire around the device 5 or 6 times.
2. Run the remain wire around your car, I go up to the rear view mirror, loop around and tie the other end of the wire around the passenger side ceiling handle.
Works great now!!

You can use the MP3-RadioStation f.ox to listen to music from your MP3 player or another external audio device such as a CD player over the sound system in your car. Simply use the included line-in cable to connect your MP3 player to the FM transmitter and then connect this to the cigarette lighter in your car. The 14 selectable and previously preset transmitter frequencies can transmit any desired audio signals over the 3.5 mm phone jack to the car radio via VHF radio communication. Since the MP3-RadioStation f.ox is equipped with a USB host connection in addition to the line-in connection for external audio devices, the music can also be played back directly over your car radio using a conventional USB stick with Flash memory. Alternatively, a rechargeable battery-operated MP3 player can be charged by means of the USB connection. The LED indicator and the 7-segment display, coupled with the individually adjustable inclination of the screen make operating the TrekStor FM transmitter foolproof. The MP3-RadioStation f.ox is compatible with all car radios with analogue tuners.

5 in 1 Wireless Hi-fi Headphone Earphone MP3 TV PC Chat Review

5 in 1 Wireless Hi-fi Headphone Earphone MP3 TV PC Chat
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought a pair of these headphones thinking that for the price, it didn't matter how good the sound quality is. Unfortunately, the sound quality is not the problem with these headphones.
The first clue that this is a very cheap set of wireless headphones is that the transmitter runs on batteries. It can be run off AC, but there is no AC adapter in the box; it's an optional add-on.
While I can live with a battery-powered transmitter and no charging cradle, the bigger problem I experienced was that the receiver cannot get a consistent lock on the transmitter. The reset button is useless in this case; the when reset, the receiver locks onto a nearby radio station and begins its FM scan (from what I can read in the documentation, this isn't what is supposed to happen).
Also note that for chat, the microphone is built into the base of the transmitter. The nice thing about this is that it definitely won't feed back. I never tried the microphone, but I expect it works as well as a cheap microphone can be expected to work.
All in all the product does work okay as a pair of wired headphones, but that defeats the purpose of buying wireless. The wireless feature is much to inconsistent, resulting in a very frustrating user experience.
I would not recommend this product nor would I purchase again.
