(More customer reviews)I recently bought these headphones due to the fact my cat managed to destroy my 60 dollar sony headphones. The sound quality of these headphones is acceptable when plugged directly into the audio source. When the headphones are put into wireless mode, the sound becomes muffled. It must be noted, however, that when testing these headphones, I was dealing with a lot of wireless devices in the immediate area (keyboard, mouse, routers, phones, and all the devices of my several neighbors.) It is quiet possible that when dealing with less interference the quality could improve.
The headphones run off of 4 AAA batteries (2 in the headphones, and 2 in the receiver), although you can use the headphones without any batteries if you are using them with a wire from the audio source. The idea of using batteries in the wireless receiver surprised me, although there are advantages to this. First off, the receiver does not take up a wall power socket and you can use it anywhere, but the downside is you will have to switch out batteries eventually. I have not owned the product long enough to test its power consumption.
The headphones themselves are fairly comfortable, and are designed to naturally muffle out any noise, although they do not have noise canceling built into them. They are a bit bulky, and if you are trying to look fashionable wearing these while jogging or trying to sneak these into a classroom, look for another product.
Here are a few pros and cons of the product, for the lazy people who just want a bulletin style review.

-Versatile, with different options. Allows you to use them wirelessly OR wired.
-Decent sound quality when wired (nothing to get too excited about)
-Fairly Comfortable
-Comes with a Y adapter and a 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm adapter.
Cons
-Muffles sound quality when used wirelessly.
-Requires 4 AAA batteries to use wireless capabilities
-Looks bulky, and not sleek.For what you're paying, this is a pretty good product. Don't expect it to compete with Bose or Sony's headphones, which are much more expensive headphones. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the product and recommend it to a buyer on a budget.

Sony DRBT100CX/BLU Ear Bud Style Stereo Bluetooth Headset Review

(More customer reviews)I had reservations about this product when I purchased it on-line, but I had been searching for a wireless or semi wireless stereo headset that fits my modest but specific requirements, so I tried it out, and I really like it.
Unlike other Bluetooth stereo headset devices I have tried, this little unit has great range. Others I've tried had a difficult time streaming audio at the distance from my head to my hand with my arm extended at 90 degrees, which is of little use to me. With the DRBT100CX, I can place my mobile device in my pocket or even walk away from it an easy 30 meters with excellent streaming clarity.
The ear buds fit comfortably and I can manually adjust the amount of ambient noise I want to hear by adjusting how snugly I put them in my ears. This is important because there are times you need to be aware of the sounds around you, and there are times you just want to drown everything out. And because the ear buds are corded, the Bluetooth transmitter doesn't have to be pressed against the back of my skull or hanging behind my ear; I can clip it to my shirt sleeve or waist band. While the precise health risks of Bluetooth transmissions are somewhat unknown, I'd just as soon limit the proximity to my head.
It's extremely light weight with a compact form factor, and the simplicity of the miniature joystick control is brilliant, even for my huge hands and fingers. So far, it appears to be quite efficient with power usage, and I love that it recharges via USB, with the USB charge cable included.
There is one item that I would consider to be a significant design flaw that Sony should fix if they design another (even smaller) version, and I hope that they do. The built-in, plastic spring loaded clip used to clip it onto your cloths, etc., is far too flimsy for even casual use. On my unit, the clip broke off at the hinge and it's just too tiny and delicate to attempt any type of lasting repair. I happened to have a small Velcro strap with a metal clip on it, the kind you might see threaded through the hole of an identification badge clipped to one's jacket lapel, which works perfectly for me, actually better than the original.
The price seems a bit high, but because this unit fits my needs, I use it all the time, so I'm comfortable that it was a good purchase. I have to deduct from the rating, not just because my clip broke, but because Sony should have given more realistic consideration to the design, for that price.

(More customer reviews)I did not pick this up through Amazon, but at "Wal-ly World", and I paid $14.88 for it. So, I'm giving it four stars for the price. You can pick up an input cable for a couple of dollars, but as soon as I saw the remote so I don't have to keep messing with my Touch, I was sold. Does everything it says. connect one end of the remote into the iPod Touch/ iPhone, and the other into the input jack of your car... and you are hearing good/ great quality sound! As soon as I tried this method rather than my FM transmitter, I was sold and gave my transmitter away that same night. No hiss. Sounds great. Overall five stars, but the cost takes it down one star to FOUR.

(More customer reviews)This does not work as a wireless headphone. When connected to my ipod less than 2 feet away the sound is garbled and cracky. It doesn't improve no matter how you maneuver the transmitter or the headphones or how far away you are. Once in a while I could actually hear for a few seconds what the person was saying on the podcast. Most of the time it was crackling and static. The FM transmitter does work though.
The "ergonomic" design is ridiculous. It's a one-size-fits-all non-adjustable headphone with the hardest plastic on earth possible. It goes around the back of your head and is very uncomfortable, especially on the ears.

(More customer reviews)I was impressed by most of the equipment in this package - except for the fact that nothing came with any instructions. Probably most people would know how to unfold the Foldable Speaker and use it, and run the LCD FM Transmitter - but I did not. Having instructions would have helped me figure things out a lot faster. Also, the two screen protectors were worthless. Firstly, I could not get the sticky tabs off the protectors. The paper came off but I was left with two tab-sized gluey surfaces that left sticky spots on my iTouch screen. The tabs were unnecessary, anyway, the way the protector was packaged. Secondly, the screen protectors didn't stick to the surface of the iTouch screen so I couldn't use them. Again, the instructions were vague at best. I loved the silicone skin cases, especially the pink and blue cases. They did cover the lovely metal back on my iTouch, but they looked great on. Aside from these two problems it's a fairly good buy.

(More customer reviews)Several problems with this product. The main being that the sound quality of the FM transmitter is horrible. It doesn'tbroadcast stereo sound all the time, and unless you plan on sitting in your car in one area where you get a good signal, prepare to have the sound quality vary greatly. I also found I got a better signal when I held the transmitter in my hand or wrapped foil around it, which looks horribly.
Bottom line, do not buy this expecting to have your ipod play through your car speakers just like your radio. In fact, there are very few FM transmitters that will give you flawless sound. If you want good "consistent" quality, you are going to have to use a casette deck transmitter which provides a direct line into your ipod. But out of the many FM transmitters I've tried, this is the worst.

Sly SLH200W 6 in 1 Headphone Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this wireless headphones to reduce the clutter & so I could watch video & tv without everyone in the neighborhood hearing (My hearing is getting worse as I age) At $25, I thought it was worth a try. Well, ya get what you pay for.
Installation was a pain as the instructions are extremely confusing (and I'm a techie!!). They are also written in the very small print of legal documents that are meant to be read only with a magnifying glass. Mine came with a USB power cable which was not mentioned anywhere on the box or the documentation. The transmitter (called the Emitter in the instructions) can also operate on 2 AA batteries. 2 more AA batteries are required in each headset.
The headphones are the old style of analog days. Light enough in weigh so you don't notice them. But they will get sweaty with prolonged wear. I did get 2 headsets so 2 people can listen. The chat function strikes me as useless. It's like talking on a speaker phone several feet away.
The real test came with use, once I finally got them installed correctly. Each time you turn on the headset, there is a 3 step procedure you have to follow. If you don't do it right, the headset becomes an FM radio and you have to start all over again. There is a great deal of feedback & background noise. Not unlike listening to an AM radio. The tone of music is tinny with little base response. Playing Winamp with full base helps some but the speakers just aren't good enough to really enjoy music.
I would have paid double the price to get better sound with no background noise. But the $200 range for a really good wireless set is out of my reach. So I'll live with this - for now.

(More customer reviews)After researching Sony, RCA, and Sennheiser wireless headphones I settled on the Sennheiser RS-120's and I have no regrets. These are excellent headphones. I ended up buying them at GoogGuys. When I asked the associate if I could try them he connected them to a DVD player and they came to life. I walked all the way accross the store filled with electronics and heard no interference what-so-ever. I was nothing short of impressed and bought them right then and there.
Now that I have been using them for several weeks I am still amazed by them. I didn't know wireless headphones could be this good. There is no interference around my house. The 300ft range claim is about right. Maybe a bit conservative. I can mow my rental house lawn accross the street and even go next door and still get a good signal.
Sound quality is excellent. Bass is strong, mids are prominent, and highs are crisp. These phones work great for music, TV, and movies. I couldn't be happier with the sound. There is some spotty static in a couple places upstairs but it is practically inaudible when listening to something.
I don't know how long the batteries last because they have never run out. I have worn them for almost 10 hours straight and they were still going strong. I put them on the charger after each use and they have never shown any signs of a low battery.
That brings me to the charging system. It is simply superb. Unlike most other wireless phone charging systems this one is very simple. Just set the headphones on the metal "tube" that sticks out of the base and it charges. No messing around to get them just right so the contacts will contact (AKA Sony).
Build quality is very good. They are light weight, yet sturdy. The RS-120's are much sturdier than any of the other Sennheiser RS phones. They are very comfortable as well. I was worried that, due to their open air, on the ear design that they would get uncomfortable after wearing them for a few hours. I was proven wrong. They have never become uncomfortable.
I have read some reviews where people complain that the base turns off whenever it wants. It has an auto-off features so that it shuts off if it gets not signal for a few minutes. I see no problem with that and it has never bothered me since I'm usually listening to something when I'm wearing them. :)
I have the base connected to my home theater receiver to which I have a TV, DVD player, and my PC connected. The phones work well with all of those sources. Games, music, movies, TV, everything sounds great and I recommend these phones whole heartedly. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal in this price range.

You can tell just by holding it.The shielding is thick, and heavy, plus it is all covered by a nice black nylon weave with a red stripe criss crossing around it, which makes for nice presentation. The connectors are 24k gold plated, and they SNAP on tight, with no wiggle. Most importantly however is that even with 6 Ft of length, audio signal is still great with absolutely no loss in quality, and this cable runs parallel with my coaxial and power cables. There is a white and black version of this with the white and black connector heads and white stripe too. 5 stars for blowing my expectations!

(More customer reviews)I am very pleased with this audio cable and am glad that I chose it over one of the cheaper ones I was considering. The cable is very thick and strong, yet still flexible. I am using it to connect my headphones to my workstation under my desk which was too far for my headphones to reach on their own.
I compared audio quality when using the cable vs. connecting headphones directly and found no noticeable difference, even when playing raw uncompressed audio.
The female end forms a tight, firm connection with anything I have tried connecting to it. The male end forms an equally good connection with any jack mounted on a flat surface. The width of the cable at the end can make a good connection difficult if the device you are connecting it to has a lip or ridge next to the jack (such as on my laptop). I don't imagine this would be a problem for most people since most jacks are on a smooth surfaces, but you should check the device you are planning to use this with before ordering.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this cable and would recommend it.

(More customer reviews)When you can get these wireless headphones to actually connect, they work fairly well, although they can suddenly disconnect for no reason, and if I turn my head so that it faces my cordless phone base, they get a loud buzz. The sound quality is fine for TV programs. But the main problem is GETTING them to connect: EACH and EVERY time you turn them on you have to "synch" them with the transmitter that's connected to the TV. This involves pressing the "Scan" & "Reset" buttons repeatedly, often for several minutes, before you hear anything other than loud static. This means you need to turn them on & start pushing buttons 4 minutes ahead of time, or you will miss the beginning of things. And don't even think of turning them off during commercials to save battery life! The transmitter requires batteries as well as the headphones, so if you forget to turn IT off when you're done, you'll be out of luck next time. The transmitter DOES have a power jack, but YOU have to find & buy an appropriate power adapter, adding to their cost. Sometimes these allow me to walk into the next room & keep listening, but sometimes they lose the connection while I'm sitting still 4 ft. away. Definitely not worth the trouble!

(More customer reviews)I love these headphones. In fact, I'm online today buying a replacement set for the one I've been using for over a year (battery leaked inside base and killed the contact!). You can easily switch between FM stations, and from radio to your computer/MP3/TV by using a button on the headset. Volume is controlled on the headset. Both the headset and base run on batteries, so you don't need to have yet another electrical outlet available to use these. I am totally amazed at how long the base will transmit on a pair of AAA batteries. In fact, I never had to replace the batteries in my unit, which is why I didn't realize one of the batteries was leaking. I must admit, that I don't use the headphones more than about an hour each day, but still, the battery life is great. I really love that I can walk into my kitchen -- 2 rooms away from the base -- and still have good reception, so I can listen to music from my computer while doing dishes, making dinner, etc. You can't beat this unit for the price. Note: I don't use it for TV; just use connected to my computer for playing music, or listening to FM radio.
