I live in the NYC area so it's always hard to find an fm transmitter that can actually work well all the time; With the excalibur I never had a problem finding a radio station; It generally overpowers the weaker signals and even some of the stronger signals.
cons: Does not charge ipod, and it comes with two detachable chords (1 ipod jack, 1 3.5mm jack) and they sometimes get pulled out accidentally
