(More customer reviews)After trying a half-dozen or so similar products with no real success, I finally found this one. Once you accept that none of these transmitting products are going to deliver perfect reception all the time, this is the about as close as I've found. The signal strength is better than most battery-powered units. The ability to power both the audio device and the transmitter off of the same plug in your cigarette lighter means that the unit will pay for itself in the saved cost of batteries pretty quickly. Being able to select almost any FM frequency means that you won't run into problems with interference from any local stations. The only real downside is the old-fashioned dial you use to select the transmitting frequency, which is somewhat imprecise and requires some fumbling. Still, it's better, and cheaper, than the alternatives.
