(More customer reviews)I don't usually leave reviews for products, however I figured I should do so for this product as I found the reviews out there kind of misleading, and I figured that other people shouldn't spend $40 and then be disappointed as I was (especially since monster usually delivers first class products).
Okay, I thought I should note that the product did break down after several days of use, however that is not the reason I gave it one star (as this happens sometimes with the best of companies and products, just a thing called life...).
My issue was the quality of the sound which was beyond bad and staticy, at certain times other radio stations constantly overlapped with my ipod while driving (very short distances). I tried every channel available, with very little improvement.
Another important issue for me was the fact that it feeds of your battery charge, monsters review claimed that it uses minimal power charge off the ipod, however the truth of the matter is that it shortens your ipod charge time to over half! I usually get over 8 hours of non stop music on one charge. And with this transmitter I got just a little over 2.5 hours (big difference). My friend ordered it the same time I did, and as his did not break down after a few days, the charging option via USB did not work (and neither did mine by the way, however I just let it slide by), everything else was identical. Hope this review helps you in deciding which product is right for you, as I mentioned earlier I wish I would have known all this prior to purchasing it.
