(More customer reviews)This remote has a very short, line-of-sight range due to the fact that it's an IR remote. There's a large sensor on the bottom of the base receiver. If you can't see it, you can't use the remote. From what I can tell, the range overall is roughly 5 feet maybe, depending on the angle.
