I own a Apple 60 GB Black iPod Video AAC/MP3 Player (5th Generation) and the Motorola Krzr K1m Sprint phone, which sadly does not feature stereo bluetooth and I was looking for a solution for this unnecessary issue (Motorola should've built in stereo bluetooth along with it's mp3 player). The Scosche Blulife Home Kit was the answer to my prayer. Not only could I use the transmitter with my phone to send stereo audio to my bluetooth headset, the reciever can be used for sound in the home or vehicle. A beautiful thing.
For my video Ipod, I can connect the standard 3.5" jack and send the signal to either the receiver, which connects via any RCA connection, or to my Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS970. One important thing to point out is to know what you want to do with your devices, then, read the manuals for all your devices thoroughly. I admit I did have trouble the first time around with the HBH-DS970 pairing to the transmitter and the phone simultaneously, but once I spent time with the manual, I followed the clear instructions and was able to achieve my goal of being able to switch back and forth between music and phone calls. It s all about the single/multiple switch button on the headset. The only gripe I have if any, is the size of the transmitter, which could get bulky if you intend to connect it to your portable devices on the go. Otherwise indoor use not a problem whatsoever.

(More customer reviews)I bought this after multiple pair of earbuds broke on me after too short a period of time, even the more expensive ones ($100 range) didn't make it past 6 months. So I decided it was time to go Bluetooth. This adapter works great, it's easy to sync, the battery charge lasts, and it can charge itself and the Ipod attached both while in use. I work in a small studio and am able to move around working while listening, all while my Ipod and this adapter are plugged in by my workstation. My only complaints(2) are that, 1: the adapter though just about as thick as my Ipod classic, is not of similar width so it is somewhat of an odd fit. I would have liked to have seen the adapter either be as wide as the Ipod and have even more battery life(though it's current life is great), or be as wide and less tall. And 2: The adapter plugged into the 30 pin port on the bottom of the Ipod makes me weary of the potential to damage either or both items if they where to be flexed about, like if you were to carry it in you pocket. I would like to see a more secure attachment to the Ipod itself such as it being built into a hard casing for the Ipod, or even if there were a case that would fit an Ipod with this adapter attached. Over all this adapter works flawlessly, it's only drawbacks in my opinion are design flaws of the items shape/size. I am very happy with it and feel that it was an excellent purchase.

It works well in my shirt pocket, but it cuts in and out when I place it anywhere else. This is frustrating. I paid too much for this product to have this happen!!! I was aware of other objects such as telephone wires or some other wireless products causing this to happen, but not my body.

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these adapters. I recived them within a week and one worked as it should and the other did not. The return process is a bit of a hassle and I haven't yet recieved the replacement (however, it's only been a few days). The one that works operates well and has good range in open space. A major problem for me is that the battery seems to only last about 1.5 hours before the sound begins to drop out occaisionally. Overall the quality is mediocre and performance is reasonable for the price. I would probably advise a friend to spend a little more and try a different adapter.
Update the one that I could get to work has quit after 2 weeks. The one that did not work originally was sent back 2 weeks ago with no response from the manufacturer. Junk and Junk. Don't buy this get something else.
