(More customer reviews)I bought this for long trips in my husband's truck. I like to listen to books that I have stored on my iphone. The sound does play through the radio speakers using the supplied cable. However, the part of this thing that looks like it should power the iphone doesn't do anything accept generate an error message. (not compatible with iphone). So it doesn't charge the phone and therefore its no deal for my purposes (listening to those audible books.
Product review update: second to time I used this thing it failed to turn on. No power therefore no sound. I wish I could edit the stars to zero for the review.
